Do you think black man Dalian Atkinson was "murdered" by police officer Ben Monk?

I’ll wait to hear what the jury says and accept that verdict. I don’t know the full circumstances so can’t make a valid judgment.
I suspect on this forum, there will be some who always believe the police act with unnecessary brutality, while there are others who believe the killing of a black man is always justified, whatever.
And all these types will, of course, know the case better than a jury who have sat through days of evidence (yes, that one was sarcasm).
It sounds quite possible to me. Presumably he kicked him pretty hard.
It's hard to know of course, very sad story.
I don't think he's guilty, but you can be sure the jury will convict him, especially if it's composed of left-wing sheep who will be influenced by the recent George Floyd trial.
so what do you think would have happened if an untrained bystander had dealt with a man's mental health crisis by kicking him in the head and killed him? I bet it would just go down as murder/manslaughter.
Some people I both knew of, A pursued B carrying a knife and B overpowered him getting the knife off him and fatally stabbed A - B plead guilty to manslaughter and went to jail - it's all to do with using fatal force against someone who has become defenceless.
The difference is that it was a police officer trying to arrest an man resisting arrest and was in danger of losing his own life. This A and B stuff is nonsense.
Police know to say they were in fear of their life if they kill someone.
Also I remember it being said the George Floyd was not murdered, so some people are never going to think Police murder people.
Seems as if you've already found the police officer guilty. Good job you're not on the jury.
but you've already explicitly said he is 'not guilty' whereas I've not actually said he is guilty. What I'm saying is I recall people here saying George Floyd was not murdered, but as far as I was concerned I'd seen a film of him being murdered.
